Hip Osteoarthritis (OA)

By using the Abduction Y-Strap and Internal Rotation Strap, the EXCYABIR Hip Brace provides a slight abduction and internal rotation force to the femur as you walk shifting force and impact to less worn areas of cartilage.  Most patients can feel the difference immediately after being fit with the brace.  Ask your health care provider if you could benefit from using the EXCYABIR Hip Brace.

Post-Op Total Hip Replacement (THR)

Following a total hip replacement your surgeon may want you to utilize cold therapy.  The EXCYABIR Hip Brace accommodates most circulating cold therapy machine pads as well as hot/cold gel packs.  In addition, your surgeon may want to restrict certain movements of the hip while walking and/or sleeping including internal rotation, external rotation and/or adduction of the hip.  Ask your health care provider if you could benefit from using the EXCYABIR Hip Brace.

Post-Op Labral Repair/FAI

Following a labral repair or FAI procedure your surgeon may want to restrict certain movements of the hip especially while supine (lying down).  The EXCYABIR Hip Brace can help prevent over external rotation while supine that can put unnecessary forces on your joint capsule. Your surgeon may also want you to utilize cold therapy.  The brace accommodates most circulating cold therapy machine pads as well as hot/cold gel packs.  Ask your health care provider if you could benefit from using the EXCYABIR Hip Brace.
